Read time: 3 minutes
’Twas the week before quarter-end, and all through the team,
Not a sales rep was smiling — not even on Teams.
The dashboards were checked with obsessive-care,
In hopes that good leads soon finally’d be there.
The SDRs were nestled, half-asleep at their desks,
While visions of SQLs drifted into far away flecks.
And Martin in his hoodie, and Jess with her tea,
Had just settled in for another ‘wait and see’.
When out on the Slack came a ping with such clatter,
They sprang from their seats to see what was the matter.
Straight to the inbox they flew in a flash,
Tore open the spreadsheet — prepared for the crash.
But the glow of the laptop belonging to Flo
Gave the comfort of hope to the team congregating below.
When, what to their wondering eyes should appear,
But a fresh batch of leads — with intent crystal clear.
With insights so detailed, so human, so quick,
They knew in a moment: “Marketing’s done it — no trick.”
More rapid than quota, the confidence came,
As they fist-bumped and shouted each prospect by name:
“Here’s Finance! Here’s HR! Here’s Tech and Procurement!
Here’s Manager, Director — with budget assurance!
To the top of the forecast! To the top of it all!
Now close away! Close away! Close away all!”
And then, in a twinkling, nervous energy soothed,
They spotted the metrics — astonishingly improved.
As they leaned in together, turning stats around,
Marketing dropped the intel. Real insights. Profound.
Their targeting spotless, their timing on-point,
The kind of smart leads that make sales teams rejoice.
No fluff, no guesswork — just data that sticks,
So useful it felt like a seasonal fix.
The team laughed with relief, their morale newly merry,
Their cheeks lost that pallor resembling a cherry.
With dashboards refreshed and commission in sight,
They toasted the marketers for getting it right.
And marketing, humble, still said not a word,
Just pointed to Pelago — in case no one had heard.
Intent-first, accurate, and delivered on time,
The kind of lead engine that borders on sublime.
Then giving a wink and a nod at the sales crew,
They clicked “send” on the next batch — as legends do.
And the sales team declared as they called it a night:
“Happy pipeline to all… and to all, leads that bite.”
The End.
On behalf of all the Mixology Digital team, we wish you a very merry holidays - and a well earnt rest.
See you in 2026!
